Several fallacious arguments currently espoused in favor of women aspiring to lead congregations give cause for concern. Many people maintain that women who are apt to lead an assembly ought to be authorized to do so. However, the question is not about whether a woman has the necessary qualities, but rather if it is a part of God’s plan. This study clarifies the place of women in the church and shows the important roles they do play.
How can we know if a Biblical example constitutes a pattern that we must follow? A study of this question, especially concerning “the cup” of the Lord’s Supper.
This study brings out the nuance between two Bible passages: John 6:53 and 1 Corinthians 11.23,24 on the flesh (body) and the blood of Jesus Christ. A useful study for teaching on the celebration of the Lord’s Supper.
